Why we're asking for help.

We're facing a housing shortfall that has become bigger than we can solve all at once. About $8,000 would get our family out of the immediate danger zone, but we're starting with one manageable milestone instead of putting that entire number in front of people.

Our first goal is $2,000. Reaching it would give us breathing room while we keep working on the rest ourselves.

I'm also the person who built MapleWish. I want that relationship to be completely clear: our family is one of the first families asking for help here, and this founder story is being shown openly rather than presented as an unrelated applicant.
